green sculpture

in the house of an art collector, the project
concentrates on movement, beginning with the steel
containers which wind sinuously along the terrace.
there are two types of plants, both evergreen species,
which work in creating the volume of a long sculpture.
to screen the buildings in front, the precious ilex
crenata has been imported from japan, and pruned to
resemble the shape of clouds, as well as a low wall
made from spheres of box in different sizes. the effect
is of a green wave in movement, framing the gardens
below, creating a special atmosphere, particularly with
the nocturnal illumination. the composition, which can
be admired from all the rooms of the aparrtment, is a
peaceful vision which maintains its formal clarity
over time.
